Together, we can continue providing an education for these three young friends of mine!

Deb's father, Nathan, proudly named his only daughter after me. She's a bit shy, but is gaining confidence and has a lovely smile.

I was privileged to help when Duane entered the world on a rainy November night in 2004. The family lived just a few yards from my mud hut in the village. His father, Charles, named him Duane after my dad. His brother, Caleb Zachary, is named for both of my sons.

Kenya's academic year starts the first week of January. This means the school fees for Term One must be paid upfront.

I need some generous one-time gifts to pay school fees in early January. Any amount you can contribute will be appreciated!

The total for Deb, Duane, and Zach for the year will be about $1,200.

Several of you contribute regular monthly amounts, which is a great help for expenses occurring throughout the school year:
  • textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other supplies
  • personal items for those who attend boarding school
  • school trips, etc

Please consider giving the gift of education for these students on the other side of the world! Below are three options to choose from.

Click here to make a donation through Ripe for Harvest, my missions agency. The link will take you directly to my page (Deb Smith #20098) for a list of options concerning donating by credit card.

Another option is mailing a check -

You may also donate through PayPal by clicking this button. You will have an option of a one-time gift, or a monthly gift.

With your financial help over the past several years, together we have provided an education for many young people in Kenya. Twelve of them have already finished secondary school - Collins, Masudi, Rose, Sammy, Deng, Mawien, Tony, Derrick, Robai, Pope, Jeremy, and Adu.

Duane (Class 8) and Zach (Class 5) are both in primary school, as 'day scholars'.
Deb will be in her second year of high school this year, as a boarder.

Let's join together again in this worthy endeavor!
Thank you so very much and may God richly bless you!
